I realized sometime in November 2017: "Why don't we go to PA. The Eagles are doing well! Let's go see the Eagles play?!" Well, just so happened, Eagles played again Taka's next favorite team: Raiders on CHRISTMAS evening!
So we flew from California, and got our rental car and went straight to the game. We've never been......and it was COLD! Taka forgot his Eagles warm gear, specially ordered, in our luggage which went...on to our AirBnB which we'd reserved with English-man Kie- who we'd met in Japan originally... who is NOW living with his family -can you believe this- around the corner from my Momin Pennsylvania!
Anyhow the games...the fans in our section, least expensive seats, were the most fun. (New Year's Day, tickets given to us, great seats, but the fans MUCH subdued!) Yeah, those fans are seriously, serious. They have their songs... and cheer every few minutes for the fun of it.
Even we took a train on New Year's, and with all the fans piling in, no one collected train fare!
It was on the city of Philadelphia!
Our Bnb~ at Kie's house, he got the hens set up in their coop, for renters to mind. Taka did a good job! And collecting eggs helped!
Carl and Laurie came for some hours and we got to enjoy together with Mom and Frank.
Laurie's into making these things...
...originally made in Japan. Like HakiSacks! This is a photo of what someone else has done, but Laurie's "on the way" ; )
Frank and Rosco! Rosco is still making it. There was an awful scare that he was dying, but he has NOT! We just don't want to see him run around too much, he's got spinal arthritis.
Out for a walk. Oh My Family!
Two of some of my most favorite people. Mom and my brother! That was such a great idea I had to go, and NOT in time for Christmas morning cause Mom's not into celebrating that, as I am not really either~~
